Important Update about Upcoming Events in Alderley Edge

First of all, we would like to thank everyone who took the time to fill out the survey form. Your feedback is appreciated. It was clear to us that after the success of the last event and the subsequent survey form which you all kindly filled, things had to change.

An overwhelming majority of you expressed your concerns regarding the dance floor at the Festival Hall as being sticky, lack of air conditioning at the venue to cool you down, not enough dancing time, and insufficient parking space. All of which are paramount to having a great night dancing. We wanted to address these areas to ensure you always have a quality time.

As a result, the location team at Tiempo de Salsa have been working round the clock to find a suitable venue that met these four integral requirements. After an expansive search for the right venue, we are happy to announce that going forward, we will be using the Stockport Masonic Guildhall for all our current and future events. The Guildhall is an 18th century masonic building that has been transformed into an event centre which boasts of two main dance halls, a ventilating system to ensure that you are not steaming, and a 130 car parking space.

This means that we would be able to provide the quality of service that you deserve without compromising on your health and safety. We will be able to provide you with two dancing rooms (Salsa and Bachata room) from 29th of April. This will allow us to deliver a bespoke dancing experience for our diverse audience. In addition, in the coming months, the Guildhall will be undergoing a major transformation to make sure its exterior appearance matches its beautiful and iconic interior decorations.

Unfortunately, this means that the Spicy Bachata and Salsa Party with Gormack and Jerry will not take place on the 17th of February next week at the Festival Hall. We have decided that you deserve the best dancing experience and have therefore, moved the event to Friday the 3rd of March at the Stockport Masonic Guildhall, 169-171 Wellington Road, Stockport SK1 3UA. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and we are appreciative that some of you may have already purchased a ticket for this event. Please be rest-assured that all ticket purchases will be automatically transferred to Friday 3rd of March 2023.
